I have to say thank you to @cljphoto.tx for convincing me to do a maternity shoot!

I never did one when I was pregnant with Maverick because A.) I truly just didn’t feel pretty if we’re being honest and B.) the idea of planning a maternity shoot felt daunting and I was tired enough as it was.

When she reached out to do a photoshoot during my pregnancy with Carter, I was hesitant for all the same reasons but gosh, she made it so easy!

She has an in house stylist and all her own maternity dresses. We’re talking a TON for every kind of vibe. All I had to do was show up and she would take care of the rest.

I’m so happy I listened to her because I love that I have these memories to cherish forever.

So thank you @cljphoto.tx for making me feel beautiful and capturing such a precious time in my life 🤍

Story time: Cody and I were laying in bed during our Arizona trip last summer when Raven called to tell us that her and Adam were pregnant. I had previously told Raven that we would be pregnant buddies when her and Adam decided to give it a go but I definitely thought I had more time 😂
When we got off the phone I asked Cody if he thought I should get off birth control so we could start trying again.
He OBVIOUSLY said yes.
The irony was, I was about to start a new pack that night so I needed to decide what to do. I didn’t know if I was ready to go through another pregnancy but I kept in mind that it would most likely take a few months of trying before it actually happened anyway.
So I stopped taking the pill that night.
& I’m so glad I did because it took seven months and a false positive before we got blessed with our little peanut.
Here’s to hoping Gates and our girls grow up to be besties 🤍

✨The dress of the summer is HERE ✨ I’ve been saving this dress to release when baby girl was born! I named it after Atlas because it was love at first sight. I’ve had it packed in my hospital bag because I knew it’s what I wanted to wear to bring her home. I hope you guys love it as much as I do 💙

Also; see that Christian Dior bag at the end?! Hubby surprised me with it as my push present! Can you believe it 🤤 🤤 I’ve never bought a Dior bag before but I’ve ALWAYS wanted one. Hubby did good 🥰
